The company’s strategic advantages lie in its ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to meet the quality and logistical needs of its customers. Close cooperation with customers and own development of new products enable a continuous expansion and specialisation of the production programme.

Tabular alumina ALFA TAB® is an alpha (α) aluminum oxide(α-Al2O3) product obtained by sintering specially prepared calcined alumina. It consists of large, well-defined α-Al2O3 crystals with an elongated, hexagonal shape that resembles a tablet, hence the name tabular alumina.

Calcined alumina is alumina (Al2O3) that has been thermally treated at high temperatures to remove bound moisture and hydroxyl groups.

Sintered spinel is an alumina and magnesia composite with the chemical formula MgAl2O4, which is characteristic of all spinel groups.

Boehmite is a highly thermostable aluminum oxide hydroxide. Synthetic boehmites SIBOM® are formed by hydrothermal ageing of aluminum hydroxide or gibbsite. SIBOM® is a fully crystalline (99%) boehmite with low impurity levels.

Silkem has been actively developing and manufacturing zeolite products for over 25 years, and the company’s beginnings and growth are directly linked to them. Intensive development activities mean that new product types are continuously added to the range, expanding its applications.

Thanks to years of experience in zeolite production, Silkem has developed a range of activated zeolites under the brand name ASORBIO®, and entered the market of zeolite adsorbents and molecular sieves.

Our range of granulates consists of zeolite compounds (ZC), premixes and easily dissolvable dried silicates DRYSIL®. Zeolite compounds (ZC) and premixes, as well as easily dissolvable dried silicates DRYSIL® are primarily used in the production of detergents.

Sodium water glass in liquid form is a silicate material dissolved in an alkaline sodium solution. It has the same properties as glass, but is also soluble in water due to due to its high alkalinity. It is produced by dissolving silica sand or solid water glass crystals.
