The high quality and chemical and physical properties of the company’s products are based on highly-effective technological processes, which are the result of own development. The high demands of effective energy use and environmental protection standards are met during production.
Silkem offers a wide range of products for the refractory industry. In addition to the several types of calcined alumina SALOX® and tabular alumina ALFA TAB®, the range also includes sintered spinels SP67, SP78 and SP90. Silkem also produces dried silicates under the brand DRYSIL®.

One important application of zeolite 4A is in the production of PVC materials. In addition to the standard ZP-4A zeolite for the application in the production of PVC thermal stabilizers, Silkem has developed a zeolite free from coarse particles and impurities.
Special thermal and mechanical treatment of aluminium oxides is used to produce a broad range of special alumina, which is used in the production of ceramics from the fields of glazes, frits and household and technical ceramics.

Zeolite activated powders Asorbio® ZAP are used as molecular sieves to remove moisture during the production of polyurethane products (polyurethane sealants, soles, coatings, flooring, etc.), where the presence of water molecules can cause negative effects.
Our intensive work on improving existing and developing new products has resulted in new applications, including in the catalyst industry. For this purpose, Silkem has developed special boehmites SIBOM® and zeolite activated granulate Asorbio® ZAG.
ALFA TAB® 06 tabular alumina is a sintered, high-purity alumina ceramic characterized by exceptional density and mechanical strength. Produced without additives and sintered at very high temperatures, it ensures outstanding thermal shock resistance, chemical stability, and dimensional reliability even above 1,700 °C.
